Hey, I’m Emily. I was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn and now call the upper Hudson Valley Region home. I studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University and have always had a passion for event planning. After college, I started my career in catering, event planning, and digital marketing but it wasn’t long before I found my way to weddings, where creativity and logistics meet in the most meaningful way.

Since launching my business in 2017, I’ve been lucky to plan and design celebrations for couples who care deeply about the experience they’re creating for themselves and their guests. I approach every wedding with intention, style, and a grounded sense of calm. The best part of my job? Seeing it all come to life – watching my couples fully enjoy every aspect of their love and celebration.

CAIT MITCHELL

Cait is originally from Staten Island but has spent most of her life in the Hudson Valley. After getting her esthetician license from Capri Cosmetology, she went on to found Blackthorn Bridal. After 8 years in the wedding industry, making connections and honing her skills, Cait wanted to do more, and was thrilled to become a part of Emily’s team, allowing her to see the wedding take shape from start to finish.

Now an assistant planner, Cait helps Emily and her couples craft gorgeous, unforgettable events. One of her favorite parts of the job is putting her research skills to use, helping couples find their ideal vendors.

Cait’s strong skills include extensive vendor research, knowledge of vendors in the industry, organization, client-communication skills, compassion and empathy, and a love for all things weddings!

While Emily personally leads most events, our team also includes a trusted Associate Planner who brings the same thoughtful care, calm energy, and design-driven approach that define our brand. Our Associate Planner is available to step in a as a Lead Planner with knowledge and expertise to ensure every detail feels effortless. The Emily Boziwick Events creative vision is honored and every couple experiences the seamless, elevated planning process we’re known for.
